North Nanaimo music instructor Elisabeth Bakker has been teaching piano lessons and singing lessons for over 25 years. 

For 6 years she co-directed and accompanied Nanoose Bay Elementary school choir and also served as the school accompanist. 

In addition to teaching piano and voice, Elisabeth has been active in the community as a studio accompanist for a number of teachers. She has also accompanied the Parksville Community Choir for two seasons. 

Elisabeth has successfully prepared many students both in piano and voice for exams, festivals, auditions and recitals. Elisabeth inspires her students with her love and passion for music and she in turn, is inspired by her connection with her students as they journey into the magical transformative world of music together.
